Champion of Champion Fours

On Sunday, 31st March, our Club Fours team, minus Skipper Jeff Reade who was in Broome at the time, but with Bob Maud as a substitute, won the NDBD Champion of Champions Fours in convincing fashion. The team consisted of Des Easton (Skipper), Peter van der Zande, Bob Maud and Michael Hofman. They beat the Pyramid Hill side in the Semi-final 23/12, and faced the Kerang Golf team in the final. At the 10th end we led 8/7 and that’s where the scoring stopped for Kerang. The final score was 27/7. Well done boys!!
